If a student reschedules fewer than eleven (11) business days before the class, or reschedules for a second time, the entire original course fee will be forfeited. An additional course fee will be required for the new registration.
Substitutions are permitted prior to the start of the class but are subject to a 10% fee. All substitutions must be submitted in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org prior to the start of class.
Within these established timeframes, students are allowed ONE withdrawal or rescheduling without forfeit of course fee.

MEF-CECP Certification Expiration Policy
All MEF-CECP certifications are valid for a period of 3 years from the “certification date”, the date on which the exam was passed and the certification issued. Each certified student will be able to renew his or her certification at any time by taking and passing the current version of the MEF-CECP examination.
All MEF-CECP certifications (MEF-CECP and MEF-CECP 2.0) are now called MEF-CECP. Certificates issued under that name are still active but will be referred to as MEF-CECP.
Individuals that have been issued the MEF-CECP or MEF-CECP 2.0 certification since the launch of the program in July 2011 will continue to be listed in the Ethernet Academy registry regardless of the status of their certification which is now indicated as Active or Inactive. Active means that the certification was issued less than 3 years from the current date and remains valid. Inactive indicates that the certification is older than 3 years, is no longer valid, and has not been renewed.
The MEF will notify individuals whose MEF-CECP certifications are nearing expiration and will offer a US$100 discount on the exam (first attempt) to any individuals wishing to renew their MEF-CECP certifications prior to expiration date. When renewing a MEF-CECP certification, the MEF Certified Professional will be taking the same current MEF-CECP exam taken by those attempting to achieve certification for the first time. There is no special renewal exam.
